With the BLUMOTION adaptive soft-close mechanism, doors close softly and effortlessly irrespective of the force applied or the weight of the door. If closed with excessive force, the integrated overload safety feature takes effect – reducing the additional force through an additional flow channel inside BLUMOTION and thereby protecting the hinges from damage. The BLUMOTION retrofit part is therefore recommended for Blum hinges without integrated BLUMOTION. Installation of the BLUMOTION retrofit part is easy, and is possible at any time during the production and sales process.
